One Block Down presents "Fly Away" - A Collaboration With Schott NYC
In its latest venture, One Block Down collaborates with Schott, the iconic American brand with its origins tracing back to the early 20th century. Established in 1913 in New York City, Schott has left an indelible mark on fashion history through its iconic leather jackets. These legendary jackets have not only been a fashion statement but have also played a pivotal role in shaping pop culture over the past century, thanks to their presence in movies and being worn by some of the biggest icons in pop culture history. They have become a product that transcends generations.
This collaboration features a leather jacket, available in 4 different colorways, “Night”, “Cloud”, “Fire”, and “Field”. The leather jacket is inspired by classic aviation jackets with a shirt collar and features a boxy fit, short and squared with elastic at the bottom of the garment and on the wrists, reminiscent of the fit of college jackets — a staple in the world of vintage and in the history and legacy of Schott NYC. The garment is made of real leather with a light padding that makes the jacket mid-weight and features a tonal logo graphic, created with an embossed technique on the front and back.
The 4 colorways are inspired by the color of the Italian and French flag, representing the connection between One Block Down and these two countries, where its spaces are based, in Milan, Rome and Paris.
The collaboration is available now online and in-store at One Block Down's locations in Milan, Rome, and Paris.
