HAL STUDIOS® links up with ASICS for a second time to reimagine the GEL-1130™ heritage with a design inspired by the forests of Japan. Dubbed the MK II ‘FOREST’, this fresh offering fuses ASICS’ heritage of innovation with the HAL STUDIOS® Design Thinking ideology. Crafted with a palette that draws inspiration from the forests as well as Shinto shrines, this offering pairs a mesh base with hairy suede which contrasts beautifully against pebbled, brown leather accents. They’re given a shock of orange in the GEL™ cushioning unit at the heel, insole and rubber hang-tag which is inspired by the Shinto Shrine temples.
