Japanese streetwear label Wacko Maria had the opportunity to rework Baracuta's G9 Jacket, revising it with Wacko Maria's aesthetic. Hence, the jacket is a mix of Wacko Maria's signature animal print that merges Baracuta's classic style with the more contemporary feel of the Japanese brand. This particular regular-fitting jacket comes in all-over animal print, featuring Baracuta's classic lining, beige cuffs and waist, two side pockets, one inside, a zip closure with two buttons on the collar. Baracuta, founded in 1937 in Manchester by John Miller, is a historical label initially intended to produce raincoats for other traditional brands such as Burberry and Aquascutum. Over time, Baracuta has developed an independent line, proposing new designs characterized by the search for a contemporary elegance that aimed to be more casual and suitable for everyday life. Among the various models, all introduced by an alphanumeric code, the G9 jacket stands out, as it has been worn by a few of the greatest style icons of the last century, such as Steve McQueen, James Dean, and Elvis Presley.
